Active test probes

ADP probes - Active differential high-voltage test probes
Acute - aktive Prüfspitzen für Oszilloskope
CAT I/II/III - no power supplies - no internal batteries Acute's active ADP differential probes, with measuring ranges up to /-3500V, are a useful addition to many PC oscilloscopes. The active differential probes ADP1025/2025/5035 offer a maximum bandwidth of 25MHz and the new models ADP-1100/2100/5100 a bandwidth of 100MHz with a switchable bandwidth limitation to 5MHz or FULL, measuring ranges of /-700V (DC pk AC), /-1400V (DC pk AC) or /-3500V (DC pk AC) with a protective circuit of 2500V, 4000V or 6000V, an integrated overvoltage protection display with simultaneous acoustic alarm when the measuring range is exceeded and switchable attenuations to x10/x100, x20/x200 or x50/x500. ADP1025 and ADP1100 meet CAT I/II with a protective circuit up to 2500V, ADP2025 and ADP2100 meet CAT II/III with a protective circuit up to 4000V. ADP5025 and ADP5100 meet CAT II/III with a protective circuit of 6000V. A special feature of all probes is that they are powered via the USB port, which eliminates the need for external power supplies or batteries and increases availability via the common power source. Alternatively, a USB Power PAK can be used. Since the ADP probes, unlike probes with external power supplies, have closed reinforced insulation, they do not require any additional ground contacts. The oscilloscope itself must be grounded. The test leads of the ADP probes are double insulated. Acute's ADP probes have been certified according to the latest CAT I/II/III safety regulations.
The combination of galvanic separation, protective insulation without additional ground contacts and power supply via USB port laptop battery guarantees ground loop-free measurements. The double protective layer of the measuring cables (double layer protection) guarantees greater protection for the user. The ADP probes can be used with any table oscilloscope (the oscilloscope itself must be grounded) that has a USB port. For oscilloscopes without a USB port, a USB power pack can also be plugged in, see data sheet. Thanks to the outstanding CMRR performance for differential and "floating source" measurements, the ADP probes in combination with their compact form factor are ideal for corresponding measurements in electromechanics and automotive engineering - current prices for the various models on request.
